Some time ago I saw a specific brand of thermometer here on Hearth. If I recall it was a wired unit that had a digital readout which could be mounted remotely from the actual sensor. Anyone know what I am talking about or is it a figment of my imagination?

Seems like it was Akzel or something like that.

There are quite a few available. Here is Maverick with two probes, good to 500F. Also check out wireless barbecue or grill or smoker thermometers. The barbecue industry has some pretty neat wireless temperature monitors and control systems which probably are quite adaptable for use on hot water boiler systems.

That is the piece I was thinking about. I remembered that it had a hi/low memory feature and that is what I need for this particular situation.
Thanks Rob
