My Mendota FV44i has not been used in the last two seasons. Today I replaced batteries in remote and receiver. Then I went through the process to synchronize remote and receiver, and got all the correct beeps according to the instructions. In manual mode, with the pilot switch and receiver switch set to "on", the burners fire up. But when the system is set for remote use, with pilot switch "off" and receiver switch set to "remote", the burners will not go on when I press the remote's on/off button. When I press the on/off button on the remote, the remote goes into its "on" mode, and I hear a beep and click from the fireplace, but I get no flame. Would welcome thoughts on what's wrong and how to fix.
