Another newbie question,
We have a hook up for a wood stove in our basement/playroom, stainless steel pipe running through our foundation up the side of our masonry chimney, we would like to put an insert in our fireplace but it seems like such a waste to not use the ss pipe. I am wondering if we could take down the ss pipe and use that chimney as the liner for a new insert? Thanks for all the great information.
