Well, I've been accidentally running the Orlan EKO 25 without a nozzle for the last month.
I bought the boiler used ($800) without knowing much about it and didn't realize the nozzle was taken out by the previous owner. I spent hours and hours trying to get the temps higher. Cleaned heat tubes, Swapped out fan, installed new air intake adjusters, different wood. Nothing worked.
I finally looked at replacing the nozzle and realized it wasn't even there. duh.
Oh well. Lesson learned.
Just so you know, It'll run without a nozzle but the fire goes out easily as there isn't much of an ash bed and the heat tubes clog like crazy. ha ha.
