Very good idea, I wish it would catch on.

I am not surprised that the state I live in doesn't give the taxpayers a Holiday for being Green.

But I do live in a state where they are taking steps to help with the high price of gas.

There rasing the Gas Tax.
 
In B.C. energy star appliances are provincial tax free, but you still have to pay gst.
I just save $150 on my new fridge!
 
Instead of waiting for Maine to jump on this bandwagon, just go across the bridge to New Hampshire where there is no sales tax period
