I couldn't resist, look at this thing next to my 6lb, wow can't wait to use it and shed some of the gluttony from turkey day

I bought the (expensive) True Temper maul with the "wings" on the head. First one I had, about half of the blade snapped off in a piece of straight-grained locust. Took it back, no receipt so I could only exchange it. Second one, the head is seperating from the handle. Don't think I'll ever get another, even if it was free. I already got a wood-handled "normal" 8-pounder, and I'm loving every second of it. The balance is just so much better than the plastic ones.
