selkirk vs simpson duratech class A ?

anyone know if selkirk is worse then simpson? seems to be half the price almost.. ive only installed simpson SS class A myself so i have nothing to compare it to, getting ready to put in my furnace downstairs in our place and was thinking about saving a few bucks, but wanted to check with you guys to see if its not worth it. safe is best.

If the pipe you are using is up to code, then I should think no worries.

Selkirk will get the job done fine. A lot of my customers have it and it works fine.

That said, I firmly believe Dura Tech is better. It seems better made and the quality of the individual components seems much better.
 
the selkirk locking bands look allot higher quality, anyone else notice this?
