I know most don't understand the melting of snow off of the grill lid when it's not burning.
Well, this is the first day that the sun was giving us enough heat to warm the top up above 32°.
We are over 8 hours now & sun is above a 12.5° angle, a big turning point for us. "Heat from the Sun again" :)
Not much yet, doesn't melt the snow off the wooden deck top rail, but just becoming noticeable.

The sun was out good today too. Got these just before the SB. Go Eli !!
Was up to 35 in the sun :) Warm air & clouds moving in, 32 now, more snow in the forecast.

Enjoy that sun Dave. We too are getting more sun. Around these parts we don't see much sun during December for sure and sometimes through January. We are also noticing how much further north the sun is when it rises and sets. After cutting some of our pines we now have more sun in the driveway in late afternoon so that is a good thing.
