Nice! I like burning Cherry.

Yes it's nice burning, just after I setup to split the coyotes started to yelp took a little trip on the rhino with the Ruger M77 270.

It sounded like they were up on my neighbors property.

I'm a hunter also. I shoot a Remington 700 270. Nice Cal. To bad you didn't score a Coyote as well

I'm not a hunter but have my license, what do you think about a coyote call?

Split near to a cord of cherry Friday. We love to burn it also, and last years ice storm dropped several, so working our way thru them.

'yotes are so thick here we never need a call or lure. Just go sit by a wood line and be quiet.. they will be along in a few. I don't carry a rifle with me to split or cut wood, just a 10mm. But I take that everywhere, so don't think it counts

Coyotes don't howl much around here and I've never heard them during the daylight hours except just before dark. Probably because too many have hunted them. We have big groups come in during the winter to hunt and they take several every year. I've never hunted them though I almost got one with my bow one year while deer hunting. He saw me draw and was out of there fast.

Love the site and smell of some split cherry for sure. Some dumb-ass dumped 4 large rounds of cherry in the woods across the street from me. Why on earth would they do that when I have 7 cords of wood stacked on the edge of my property? Still have to go fish them out! They are only 15 feet in there but it is a bit of a slope and I am still on the med from back surgery. I think I can push them up though - they are nice and round...

Get yourself a distress call and they'll come right in. If you can afford a remote call go for it. Set it up a short distance from ya and then if one stops by shut it off quick to stop em in his tracks.

They are pretty slick aren't they? When they trot they have a real low profile. Not an easy score with a bow!

I should have taken him when he was on the south side of the house just inside the woods about 50 feet eating a turkey, I'll see him again.
