Has anyone experienced a black soot film clinging to plastic in your house. The pellet stove seems to be running fine but I just can't seem to figure the light black film. I'm not going to run on high blower and see if that makes a difference.

Are you sure it's the pellet stove? Candles are notorious for light black soot too.

What are you using for a vacuum when cleaning the stove and do you open the door to scrap the pot or before the stove has completely gone out. Do you follow all scraping devices or the exchanger cleaning system with the vacuum nozzle.

You could actually be spitting soot out of your vacuum or your cleaning actions could be producing clouds of it.
