hi all i was wondering i have a merrimack wood burning insert and a wrought iron steamer is it ok to put potpourri in the steamer? wife said she heard it might harm the steamer???

Just be certain not to boil it dry or else that potpourri doesn't smell so very nice anymore! Experience talks :shut:

I would think having hard water like I do would be more damaging to the steamer . . . been using potpourri in my steamer for the past three years . . . just have to clean out some crust at the end of the burning season.
