I just got old old didier splitter from my dad and the hydrolic piston leaks got the thing of of the splitter and am able to spin the gland nut but thats about it . it just spins, there is a slit in the cylinder about 1 inch up from the end ,i am thinking that it has something to do with getting the gland nut off but am not sure. anyone have any ideas? i would appreciate the help thanks!!
