looks nice, post pics of the fire and heating times , curious how long it takes to start gassing and how long to bring the boiler to temp
 
I started a small fire in it the first evening. I just had to. It was like 80 degrees outside. I couldn't get the gasification to kick in. I only had kindling and about 3 pc's of wood in it. Smoke came out the chimney though.
 
Can't quite tell from the pix, but do you have the Termovar or a mixing valve?
 
I completed my install last Sept -- it remains a boiler of beauty. Great job on yours.

With storage, if closed, you will need a larger expansion tank. I started with 700 gal open storage (used fuel oil tanks) and then moved to 1000 gal LP tank, pressurized, closed. Takes space, but much simpler and maintenance free (after getting pH to where it is supposed to be).
