Square footage of new homes continues to rise. Affluent people are willing and able to trade up.
I like my 1550 ft2 home... Mostly. Easier to heat and clean. Less electricity to waste. I only wish I had more land. Half acre on a small river. Would have liked 3-4 acres for more solitude, more wood harvest opportunities, hunting options, and more maple trees to tap.
