Go ahead, but I don't want to see the video...

Actually it's a motorized winch for tree climbing. The video is a teaser.

Here is another video showing men using it.. like that better?

2500.00 without the girls! ;-)

I didn't see the porn. If that's porn than we better stay off the beach. I must be in the wrong room LOL

How the hell do they get the rope up the tree?

That was my first thought. The gizmo only works if someone else has climbed the tree and set the rope. That goes for any other method, too.

Now, if they had a quick attach that worked off your chainsaw, then we're talking!

The arborists that took down some trees at my cabin used a 2-man slingshot to propel a lead-weighted pouch, attached to a light rope, to attach rope 30-40 feet up a tree. You can see the slingshots on Bailey's website.

I got dizzy just looking down to the ground when the guy reached the top of the tree.

The raptor is a great rig. We used one belonging to a good friend of mine on a job about a year ago maybe 2. The tree was a cotton wood about 5 feet at head height, and 140 - 150 feet tall, limbs were about 16 - 20+ inches in diameter. The raptor allowed my friend to accend and decend for water and lunch. I would say it is a good set up but only for someone that plans on climbing very large trees on a regular basis. There are things to think about too, rope life & cycles to failure, the correct knots for anchoring to the tree, the several hundred dollars worth of harness and hardware you need to safely apply the device. So as much as I like to see new stuff out there I would say if your not a professional arborist it could never be worth your money...
