The find.... now comes the real work of splitting...

Wild Cherry Wood...I got my number with this tree service and they give me calls to get wood. Had to turn down some wood today, just not enough time in the day.

Then on the way home from errands, I came the "backroad" (as far as backroads as you get in the city), and found about 3 (two Ash's and 1 Hackberry) that the city must have trimmed back on the right away. They just threw the logs in the underbrush. Nuttin' too big but still a several loads for the stove in a few minutes.
