Good luck with your install. I have same stove , got brand new one year ago (knock on wood) it has been a good stove easy to clean and run. It heats my 1700sf rancher pretty good during regular winter temps. but when it gets real cold (down in low teens and single digits) it cant keep up. But over all one of the best I ever did. I am sure you will enjoy.

Can hardly get my MIL in bed at night cuz she prefers her recliner to sleep in now that the stove is hot....

Looks really good. I like the stone work. Good luck. Don't forget the surge protector if you don't already have one. I kept some notes for a while. That helped me keep objective about my results.

If your home is fairly well insulated, I think you will be pleased with your new situation. Sometimes there are air flow issues, but with trial and error, you should be able to work them out. I heat 2100 sg feet, raised ranch, split foyer. Insulation is good. My furnace will kick in on when the temp goes 15F or less. Only runs a few minutes, but just enough to take the edge off. I've learned never let your home cool down when it is very cold outside. Takes way long to heat it back up with pellet heat.

Yup, did a test spot behind the stove to see how it looked. When I shut down for the first cleaning I plan to shoot the rest of it.

IMHO, this is exactly the beauty of having multiple heating options. Lots of people post about saving $$ or ecological value (these both matter), but for me, knowing I can heat with pellet, oil, or propane, depending on the context, is invaluable. It also adds to the resale value of my house.
If people rebel against big oil and the cost of oil comes down, I'm ready. If pellets stay cheap, I can go that way. When the power goes out, I have LP.

I got the air feed adjusted so that it will burn on "1" and not go out. Left it on "2" last night and woke up at 630 am to a comfortable bedroom (farthest room from the stove) and a nice 72 in the family room (stove is located here). So all in all, for the $600.00 I have invested into the purchase of the stove, and the supplies to do the install I am one happy camper.
My neighbor came up with is wife for a visit. They moved out of this place two months ago. There were impressed with the stove. Has him thinking about a switch down the road.
I did pick up a ton of Clean Burn Pellets yesterday. $199.99 + tax at a small local chain lumber & hardware store. Anyone it the Puget Sound area looking for pellets, Del's Farm Supply has Eureka pellets for $189.00 a ton, Arrow lumber has Clean Burn for $199.99 a ton. Also seen a few deal for Clean Burn and Eagle Valley on Craigslist.
