C'mon hunting season!
I traded a chainsaw to drop 3 trees by the house. Wow was the guy quick with the bucket truck! Now I have to clean it up and haul the brush! I also found out the axle tube on my tractor is bad so I have to change out the whole rear end. Gonna be tough to use it to haul wood until it brakes... Its always something!!! Good news is I now have 2 ash and 2 shagbark hickory's to cut up that are probably 20 inchs at check height for next year or the following... I am guessing its a cord and a half or so. Its a good start!!!

Do ya need some help on this one?

If you need to prioritize - allow me to suggest that you get the hickory bucked up and off the ground. For such a hard wood, it will amaze you at how fast it can start going south. I guess if your only talking a week or a month - probably not a big deal, but the sooner the better.

The ash is cut up, not split but cut and stacked already. One of two hickory's are done as well. Not bad for an hour and a half. Needless to say with a cracked upper rib I am taking a break. Maybe work on it again tomorrow. I also have to haul the brush out. I end up splitting it at leisure between snow storms...

Wow, they were bigger then I thought. I probably have 2 cord worth already and a face cord to still cut and stack.....

6 loads of brush to the dump and still have another 6 or so to go! Wow, they do not look that big when they are standing! Good news is I just keep adding to the wood supply cutting down the branchs!
