I wanted to thank the board for the advice provided early last month on my energy trans lines. I ended up paying 12 bucks a foot for 1" themopex from a CB dealer in my area. He brought the spool right out to my site. We laid it down only 24" deep this time. Themopex is very difficult to work with, it's about as flexible as a 4"x4", but it works quite well. I'm detecting almost no heat loss over 140'. My wood pile and more importantly, my wife, are very happy with the investment.

Glad to hear it, Pat. Thanks for the update.

Anything salvagable from the old line? Did you leave it in the ground or take it out?
