Can anyone recommend a vacuum for cleaning the fine ash and soot in the stove and chimney -especially after sweeping? Biggest problem is the fine ash dust that gets through most filters.
 
thanks for the post - I've been looking at that one. Only thing I don't like is the one review on Northern's site was not very positive. I guess if it can handle ash without blowing it all over the house any other negatives would be minor.
 
The guy does not like the hose. Its most likely made of steel so that it can be used to suck up hot ash. If I were to buy that and didnt know any better from the review, I would assume that would be the case anyway.
