vacuum hose replacement?

I'm assuming this pellet stove vac hose is no different than what my local hardware store sells in rolls.
It would be much cheaper than ordering it from englander.
Is this correct?---Jerry.
 
I don't think automotive vacuum hose will work.
Has to be rated for higher temps. probly silicone based.
 
Good point. I'll look locally for "high temp" hose before before ordering.
Including shipping, the cost is $24.57 at englander.
 
It probably would work or you could get some from a auto place as it is designed to work under the hood which is pretty high temps. I could be wrong but the stuff on my Quad seems like the same.
 
You guys are right.
I looked at the wiring diagram and it describes it as "high temp. vac. hose".
This is for my daughter's 3 year old 25-pdvc englander.
