This is an original Intrepid model 1640 that was still on the shipping crate when I purchased my house. I am wondering what the chances of finding the proper rear heat shield are?

EDIT - looks like it may be a model 1302 - can i tell by the serial #?

http://www.cozycabin.net/ has a stove parts section that lists your part for $163. You might also call Black Swan Home...they'll probably be able to help you.
It may be a lot less expensive to take some measurements to your local sheet metal shop and have them fabricate a shield for you.
