Vestal Woodstoves - Anyone Heard of Them?

I was in an old house today and downstairs was a large two door, step top wood stove with Vestal imbossed on the cast iron doors. It was a huge stove, was steel plate and had a 6 inch stove pipe going into the chimney.

Anyone ever heard of this brand stove and what happened to them?

Just courious.

I grew up in Vestal, NY. Nice place. Never heard of a vestal stove though.

I live 10 minutes from vestal and housecrusher. Never used a vestal stove but my chimney cleanout door is made by the vestal company.
