does any one have a proper video that shows how to install a vent through the wall...
I read to cut a square hole and I read to cut a circle. The square hole would be easier, but not sure if that is right...

Also, how close to a house corner can you put a pipe in the wall.

Look at your manual for information also the pipe manufacturers have a lot of info on their web sites

All the holes I have seen have been square.

Lots of set backs but I have never seen one to a corner.

What flue pipe did you end up buying? Did you go with the Selkirk, or the Duravent?

round or square hole will work round hole much neater looks better have done several installs .all of them were round hole .

Hello

I cut a round hole and it was not to hard even though it was cement board! Just trace the pipe on the wall and start cutting!

Hello gfreek

That video show a horizontal pellet flue pipe installation. Although I have seen it done, it is not recommended.

It is recommended to have an approx 5 foot vertical rise either inside or outside with a clean out T for better drafting and heat. This also prevents unwanted pellet dust from spewing out onto the siding of the house and passer's by. Also in the event of a power failure there would be no blow back that could set the house on fire or smoke it up real bad.

Here is a better video.

Here is a real nice double clean out T !!

Don2222,you are right. Posted it because he states to cut a 'round hole' vs square.

Heres a video that ran on the forum a while back. I recently did my own install, on the exterior
I used a Dremel plunge cutter to cut a narrow channel the thickness of the blade for the exterior thimble
to sit in, similar to what this guy does with the sawzall. I cut a round hole just big enough for the thimble.
Use of a plunge cutter is cleaner than a sawzall IMHO.
