Thanks, I'm stuck at 213 but I've still lost 20 pounds since Oct. 10. I've stopped snacking late at night along with getting outside and working.
That is really great! That's normal to hit a plateau. Give it some more time and you'll start losing again. I was 230 for a long time. It took awhile, but same deal. Ease off the snacks, more protein and keep moving. I'm hovering between 190-195 right now and I feel a lot better than I did at 230. Went from 42 pants to 38's. I'm cheap so I only bought one new pair of 38's. I have about 6 pairs of 42s and 40s that I'm going to give to Goodwill or the Salvation Army. That way there is no way going back. I will buy another pair of jeans size 38 and if they get tight, it's my own fault and I know what to do.

Have a great Thanksgiving and don't deny yourself any food, just keep your portions a little bit smaller, especially the taters and stuffing. Extra helpings of turkey 😂

You've done really well, great job . I broke through 213, I was 211 this morning. I bought a new pair of work pants years back (38) when I was gaining weight but after getting them home I said, what size does it stop at, that's when the weight loss started.

I'll be sure I eat good today, hopefully you're doing the same. I'll get back on the treadmill tomorrow after the plowing is done. Instead of the stupid snacking I was doing at night, I'm have grapes or a granola bar.

Happy Thanksgiving

After two plates yesterday with a nice slice of pumpkin pie, I weighed 215 this morning. I did three sessions on the treadmill, 10, 12 and 10 minutes today, I'll probably do two tomorrow since I have other stuff going on.

I held my plates to just one, but it was a pretty big one. That's about what mine did too 3 pounds. Between walking the dog and the chores I have today and tomorrow, I should be back down by Monday.

The last time I weighed myself, I was 211.6, 210.6 was my lowest weight lately. Tomorrow morning I would like to be under that 210.6. we'll see. My next goal will depend on my weight tomorrow, two pounds less then my weight in the morning. The wife wanted some chicken cutlets with some pasta so I'll be making that for supper tomorrow, that'll taste good.

I've stayed away from any snacking so that's huge for me.

Another soup is planned for next week and then a nice meal on the weekend.

I've been following your soup posts. They all look really good. You must have a big freezer!

I will weigh in tomorrow morning. I feel ok, so I think what I gained at Thanksgiving has come back off.

I weighed 209.2 this morning so I cooked some Chicken Parm and we had leftover stuffed shells we had in the freezer. The next time I make this, the cheese will go under the broiler.

I'll set a goal of 207.2 for next Sunday morning. All our soups are eaten during the week, none go in the freezer.

Congrats on 209.2 ! Great job!

I really should look in to doing more preparing like that. It's pretty good that you can do that. I do pre-prepare my lunches for the week. I really like a mix of ground beef, white rice, mixed frozen veggies and at least one or two eggs scrambled with no milk or anything. I make the eggs daily. Sometimes I dump everything in a bowl and then crack an egg over the top and microwave. It comes out really good, at least to my liking. I use a different seasoning every day, like taco seasoning, smoked salt, ground pepper or we have some avocado based dressings in the fridge that I lightly drizzle on top... Whatever I feel like. And I also use whatever veggies I have. This batch is mixed veggies and frozen broccoli. The meat is hamburger I get locally raised and contains kidney, heart etc in the grind. I also added in some smoked beef sausage. I will also add leftover chicken, even fish as we usually have cod or haddock in the freezer. I change it as I go to keep a different taste level from time to time, but I stick with the white rice and veggies. Sometimes I add a bean soup of black eye beans..

Weighing in tomorrow morning... We'll see how it goes

It sounds like you have everything down pretty good. I probably should have more eggs, I only have two per week. The last meat we had was two nice steaks last week that I cooked on the grill with a hot tomato salad.

Once we're done with these two soups I made, another one is planned for the middle of this week. I'll have to see what our next big meal is and when, if I make my goal weight wise then it'll be on Sunday I guess.

Even though tonight was ice cream night (I had some), I've stopped all the snacking at night.

Hopefully your scales reading is less than the last time.

I lean towards a more high protein meat based diet (beef and pork, chicken turkey etc) but I still get my veggies in. I also add sauerkraut and sometimes a spoonful or two of kimchee. But that's me.

195.4 which is still a little over where I want to be, but down a half pound from last week. I'm only really wanting to be between 190 and 195 and I had a physical a couple weeks back and the doc said everything looked good. Blood tests in the spring. My cholesterol has been showing a little high but I'm not taking statins.
