No one hurt, no livestock involved, just lost a good barn and a year's worth of hay
Got the Equipment out of the drive shed before it went up
It was mine, but my sons now run the farm . A big loss for them

Oh no...Sorry to hear this bad news. I'm glad no one was hurt and the fire was contained. The impact of the fire will be felt and remembered. Now with winter coming on emergency plans are required.

Glad all are safe.

The hay is a big hit to take.

The hay is a big hit to take
We are very lucky where we live. The farms around us started showing up
Yesterday morning, with wagonloads of rolled hay. The boys have enough
(we hope) till the cattle can be put on grass next spring. Most of the lads
say they will help in the spring when we put up a new barn. Heavy equipment
will be here tomorrow (Monday) for clean up and to lay down a gravel pad for
the new barn. Thanks to everyone for your kind words . With the old man's (me )
Help the boys should be back in business by next summer

Good neighbors are wonderful. I'm glad the healing and recovery has started. Did they find out how the fire started?
