Got this years ago for storing wood inside and realized long ago it's much better at carrying wood than my sling carrier. Finally decided to get another one, but have no idea where I got it or what it's called. I think it's copper, 21x14"...

It's called a copper boiler. The real ones were copper laundry tubs. I got ours at a yard sale for a good price. Sometimes they show up on craigslist and at second hand shops. eBay has them too. Plow and Hearth sells them new.

Many homes had this small stove that the boiler fit on top of. The stove was light enough to move it outdoors in the summer.

I just saw one on marketplace recently. It was priced fairly if i recall correctly.

I found one someone had put out for the trash. It was banged up a little, but it's just antiqued. 😁

I got this a number of years ago and agree it’s better for carry wood than the slings. I’m sure the “copper” is not true copper.
