We are looking into having a wood insert installed into our fireplace. Want to make sure we're making the right decision!!! Our home is about 2,200 total square feet and the room size where the unit will be placed is about 700 sq ft give or take. Any advice would be VERY, VERY helpful :)

Due to your house size, drop the Morso and the HI200. The HI300 will set you back less money than the 550.

But the I300 is SOOOOOOO pretty, especially the enamel.
I have a colonial a little smaller than yours (2k sqft) and just got the I300. On my first serious burn I had the living room / kitchen, probably 600 sq ft, almost to 80. I now am getting an in wall fan to move some cold air to the living room to get the warmth to travel.
Should be big enough but based on the layout you will probably have to help the heat move around.
