We have not used our stove in 2yrs because the start switch broke we were told by a whitfield supplier that the stove is to old and the part is not available. what can we do to get the stove working?

The start switch is just a momentary toggle switch. You could take it out and by a momentary toggle switch at radio shack. It will look different than the original but it will work. That switch send a signal/voltage to a timer box. You might test the switch first to make sure its the switch and not the timer. Any one how has a volt/ ohm meter can do this for you. If the timer is bad, they are real hard to find. Email me if you need more info.
