my pellet stove has high build up of soot on the glass after a day or so of running. i use hammer hot ones pellets w/ <.5 %ash. I cleaned up the stove real well, blew it all out this summer & got all the ducts clear so I do not believe that is the issue. am I missing something?

Better luck if you post in the pellet section of this site.

Common, really. After 3 days, i can't see the flame through the glass any more. I wipe it every other day or so.

oh. really?
I thought I was having a real issue w/ it. were in ct are you @? were do you buy cubex & what do you pay for them?

No air wash?, after 12 yr's cleaned my whitfields air wash, now hardly any soot on the glass, even burning a full week as we speak, before 1 day glass was covered up.
