Im changing locations and need an additional 12 inch piece and all I can find to match my metalbestos is the adjustable piece. I dont think I trust it from leaking into the house so I need a piece thats "fitted" on both ends and can only find it in Duravent. Will Duravent match up to my Metalbestos?

Thanks Smoke!

Get the adjustable pipe, and after install is done, wrap the slide joint with furnace tape. If your pipe is black, the tape can be spray painted with stove paint.

I already have a 12 inch piece of the adjustable but was afraid to use it because of the end that doesnt fit tight. It will be coming off of an elbow that is connected directly to the stove. You think the furnace tape will prevent any type of smoke from leaking back through it?
