Wherever we're parked
Went to http://www.woodpellets.com & placed my 2011-2012 winter's order this AM.
Put 6 tons of Cleanfires on layaway for an October delivery.
A little pricey at $270 (per) +/- delivered, but I don't mess with anything but
lugging them in the house & pouring them into the Harman(s).
3rd year burning their product & the last two years they were forked to
the bottom of my driveway & placed neatly in a row.
Got two units to feed this winter & I'm hoping 6 tons will get me thru.
We did about 4.5 tons last year with only the P43, but that's been replaced with a P61A
& the P43 replaced the Jotul GF600 Firelight to cut off the LP guy...
I was told that there will be some incentives (ie - price reduction) offered & it may be as
much as $15 per ton so that'll make it even more worthwhile to have the bulk
of the material handling done by them...
Much as I don't want to see winter come, I know it's inevitable, so we might as well be ready.
Hopefully I can get another 3 -4 K on the new Ultra Classic Electra Glide this season!

To each his own DAKSY but you didn't have to part with that kind of $$$$ considering you have two Harmans now. The P61A will burn just about anything and you could've had HD deliver you some Stove Chow for $197 each and hardly notice the difference.
JMHO.

I haven't heard any rumbling on the Cleanfire Pacific's(softwoods). $270 isn't too bad a deal. BC softwoods are right at $260 locally. And I would need to haul and stack them myself.

Keep us posted on how the P61A does for you?

Hey HL7
Cheepo Deepo refuses to deliver ANYTHING down the road we live on.
One of their drivers hadda back out 1/2 mile on a single-lane road,
down a hill & around a 90 degree bend...we've been black-listed...
I know my Harmans will burn everything but chocolate milk, but I refuse to
buy fuel from a hardware store. I don't care how cheap it is...
I wouldn't buy a stove from there either...
I've had good results from woodpellets.com & I'll stay with them, thank you...

Hey j-takeman
I will definitely let the resident pellet pigs know how the P61A performs, once she's in & running.
I Pulled the GF600 out & installed THAT in my sister's house, but I haven't pulled the P43 to put
in the GF600 location. That'll happen the first week of September when I'm off work.
Based on past winters, I only burn occasionally from the end of October til about Thanksgiving...
That's when the ground starts to freeze & I go to the two bags a day burn...

Thats why I prefaced my remarks with "to each his own". Given your situation, I understand. I, however, can easily get over buying a premium pellet from them while saving myself $75 per ton. Thats $300 that I can spend on my beer stash!!! Best Regards......
