Well the rain has finally stopped! Supposed to start up again sunday night through tuesday. Hooking up with a friend to get some wood for next season already. On the list...2 good size Ash trees and about 5-6 decent Cherry trees. Maybe some silver Birch as well if we have time today. All in all I'm hoping for at least 5-8 face cords. All need to be downed, cut and eventually split. Downed and cut today......splitting in a few weeks. Enjoy the day guys and be safe.

Pics, or it didn't happen.

Sounds good - love cutting this time of year! When you say 'silver' birch, do you mean same as gray birch? Cheers!

Yellow goes by the nickname "Silver." OP lives in the native range...
