In The Woods
I was going to work on the beech ( on the side of a hill) but with all the rain we are getting I think it will be to slick, so I'm going to work in this area thats pretty flat and has about 3 cherry trees (one not pictured) and some popple down.

I would like to have it all bucked by the end of the day but I have to clear a trail for the rhino, not sure how long that will take.

Too Hot here 90's...Started to make some benchs around the fire pit even that was to much.

Zap, How much property do you have? You always seem to have a tree down! Its too hot for anything outside in NJ. I was outside splitting around 8:30am. Only split a little and my shirt was stuck to me.

gzecc when I was stacking thursday it was like that but I pounded down the water (4 bottles = 2 face cord) it was the deer fly that pissed me off.

Yes, heat, deer flies and other insects are what keep me out of the woods other than winter time. I really enjoy getting in the woods when there are no insects!
