I am not that sure it looks like maple, but hey, he's not a pro.
 
Wood Duck. You beat me to it. Funny looking maple, but we're going by pictures and they are the most difficult to tell what wood is. Still doesn't look like any maple around here.
 
Yea I saw that add, typical person who thinks they have gold and want a good price for it.
