I just saw a tv report on the guy that makes these (here in Quebec) and I thought that some of you would find it interesting. The idea is to recreate the warm glow of a wood stove in a kid's room. Seems to have caught on enough to now be making 50 of them per day. Would also make a nice DIY project, it's easy enough to buy a flickering LED bulb. I'd also make the logs a bit more realistic looking.
