Bought my Woodstock Fireview in 2012, noticed this season a poor burn issue, just pulled my catalyst, see pictures, luckily I bought a new stainless Steel Catalyst has backup in 2014, just put that in. Now I have this cast Iron frame for the old catalyst, still in good shape, are there after market catalyst that I may purchase that will fit in this frame?
Enjoy your burn!

These are the original ceramic cat that came with the cast iron frame. You need two of them. You also need some 2" wide interam gasket to wrap the sections, and secure both loose ends with masking tape, which will burn away later. The gasket will expand when heated to seal air gaps between the sections and the frame.
I like the ceramic cats, but have used the steel ones too. The ceramic doesn't collect ash dust as quite as fast.
