Finally going to get a wireless thermostat. I read great reviews of the skytech brand so I went on their website to decide which model. I wish they had a compare feature where you can easily compare the features.... Anyone done this research already?

Hey sinnian! Thanks. I think I was just starting to realize that. Not sure why I thought that they would even have non-programmable ones nowadays... You can usually go into a hold mode even on the programmable ones I believe.

Won't be long until ice fishing with these temps! Have you seen the Hardwater movie? Just bought it this week but haven't had a chance to watch it.

Yes even with the programmable you can put it in the hold mode.

Bought a new (to me) boat, so I am not in so much of a rush for ice this year. When I comes I will enjoy it though! Hopefully Sebago freezes this year.

I was one of Ryan and Dan's backers on Kickstarter so I got the DVD back in July ~ you'll enjoy it.

Sweet! It will be quite a few years until I am able to get a boat but someday.... If Sebago doesn't freeze there will be many unhappy campers....
I was going to back them on kickstarter also but found out about it towards the end of their campaign and then ended up missing the deadline. Looking forward to watching it soon.

Skytechs work great with QuadraFire and Heatilators, even better than the factory remotes. I usually work one into the sale of an install since they work so good and saves labor on running the wire of the t-stat. Much easier on my techs.

I have the 5301P and really like it. Batteries last a full season no problem. And it's nice to be able to put the control pad at different locations. Sometimes you can get a good deal on them. I got mine for $105 on ebay.

Love the 3301p. See my sig for Harman connection instructions.
