This stupid walbro carb is frustrating me.
First I mess with the fuel inlet that was loose, it's fine now. I was having a leaking carb that was draining all the fuel out of the tank, so I thought I'd start with a carb rebuild.
Well, i got it rebuilt and hooked back up and the danged carb is STILL leaking everywhere. EXCEPT when I completely seat the H mixture screw. (probably never needed a rebuild, just needed this fixed)
I've gotten it to start a few times but now I've lost a little bit that holds a lever onto the carb for throttle purposes. this has a sort of auto throttle deal like a lawnmower to maintain whatever RPMS. So now when I get it to fire it might start throttling itself, but then it pops off and closes the butterfly and the thing dies.
at this point I'm not sure what to do about the H screw. why would that make the carb drain out like that? The carb is UNDER the motor, BTW, so it just pours out the unfiltered mouth of the carb (remember that many snowthrowers/snowblowers don't have air filters)
any advice as I proceed?
