Hello all,
I finally got my stove, a little late, and probably should have waited till next year at this point. I went with the Enviro Milan. I attached pics so hopefully they work out. So far not so good but it's only been a day. This morning the fire was out and the burn pot was full but I'm sure some tinkering and better pellets will get rid of that issue. That is not my question......yet.
My question and problem is this....I thought I could block out the noise the stove makes even though it would be right next to me. My assumption was that I've always had Window AC's running and it never bothered me, I just blocked out the sound. However, the sound the stove makes is maddening. It is bothering me more than I ever thought it would. I may get used to it with time but was wondering if anyone else had this issue. As you can see, the end of the couch in the pic, the stove is right next to me. Is there anyway to dampen the sound? This does not have a fan control only heat control. Although I understand that even with a fan control the sound does not lesson.
Any suggestion are appreciated... or maybe someone else went through this and got used to it. I don't know, but it's not like I can return the stove because I can't deal with the noise. SO, I need to do something.
Thanks
