okay I give up. What is the leaf blower trick?

Been thinking about doing this for awhile now and seeing as the Hamer's I have this year are producing lots of ash I figured I'd give it a shot. Went to HD, bought a Toro Super Electric Blower Vac, a 4 inch pvc coupling which fits great over my vent pipe (4 inch) outside and the vac tube from blower fits perfectly inside the coupling. It took about 5 minutes for the air to finally clear! and my stove was cleaned less than a ton ago. I'm impressed....Thinking I will not have to remove the exhaust motor so many times a year. I will for the time being to monitor the difference.
