I am new to the pellet scene and thanks to the info on this forum I will have a Mt vernon AE installed in a week. By reading this forum for the last 2 weeks - my wife says I have a problem - I know that different stoves work better with different pellets so I am asking if anyone with a Mt Vernon AE has used any of the following pellets because I would like to have a stash ready to go when I am finally operational. Here are some of my choices from a local dealer...
Barefoot - $309/ton
Canawick - $259/ton
Cubix - $289
Lacrete - $299
Okanagan - $299
Spruce point - $279
Trebio - $259
From the info I gathered locally this is very reputable dealer. I would like to start burning with "good" pellets so I can get the hang of operating the stove before I start experimenting and deal hunting so if there are any other Mt vernon AE owners out there that have any input on these pellets I would love to hear it.
