Last season I went through three igniter's on my Mount Vernon. I was able to contact someone by phone at Quadrafire who told me that the reason for the igniter failure was the brand of pellets, cleaning, and to change to a utility setting. I clean the whole stove weekly so I didn't agree but ok. So this season I ordered two igniter's, changed the pellets, and I am still cleaning it weekly. Last week another I had another igniter failure, so I changed it with the spare. So last week I emailed Quadrafire again with this issue and guess what NO RESPONSE. I contacted the dealer regarding this issue last year and they have no idea why this is happening and were no help other than selling me another igniter. When I replace the igniter the wire are right where Quadrafire reccomends to run them. As I am writing this I wonder if there is a faulty tranformer but does anyone have any ideas?
