I expect that I will be mothballing the Mt. Vernon within a few weeks.

Thermostat is set to 70 so it will kick on at night if it gets below 67 due to the temperature differential.

I was looking at my lawn today, it's gonna need attention soon. ;sick No way in hell have I ever thought I'd be mowing grass in March.

Gonna make for a long season. _g

I take the week before Memorial Day Weekend every year....

That's normally the 1st time I cut all the grass. Its still a little wet, but it's much.drier than normal.

Here in NH the daily highes after today are forecast in the 40s with lows in the 30s. The nice weather was great but still plenty of use for the stove and the lawn can wait a while.

Memorial Day week is the 1st time I cut "All" the grass. Im about ready to cut majority of it. But some of the lower lying areas, just have to wait till they are drier and can stand the weight of the mower.

I've already cut the "weeds"!! I don't remember ever cutting this early!

This week's warm weather was wonderful!!

Cut the back yard on Tuesday 03/20. Real early for me, but I also saw lawnscrapers doing cleanups in the neighborhood on the same day. Front lawn only needs minor cleanup.

BIll

Most of my backyard is Zoysia, which is still brown and looks like hell.

I cut the front because some patches were nearly 6" high.

Probably won't be mowing mine for a couple weeks... charging my tractor battery as we speak, or type ....
