Do any of you boiler drivers burn all year to heat something other than your living space? Domestic hot water, pool, hot tub, steam room, moonshine operation, biodiesel production, car wash....?

I run on and off all year to heat a turkey brooder barn so I don't get summers off. Nothing like opening the inspection door on a 90 deg. day.

Still burning here. Just for DHW. Mrs J like 145::F DHW 24/7.

Hot water. 1 fire every 5 days
DHW here too. About every 3. Tanks are foamed, but not boxed in yet. I've been letting the wife take the week off when I'm away. I have some biodiesel to use up. It's got a short shelf life.

Sorry about the sloppy title. Did not proof read the title after changing what I was planing to write. And I don't know how to edit the title.

Ya burning all year here. Just heating the DHW for now. I have a hot tub to hook up this summer and would like to
heat it to. It lowers my elec. bill about $75.00 / month and takes me about 8 fires, 3/4 of a load / fire a month. Been
burning my ugly pieces, punky stuff, sticks, cardboard and any thing but my good wood.

No storage yet, so burning a few hours each daily. I could get away with every other day (120 gal hot water tank), but with 3 women in the house who like HOT showers

Year round for me as well. DHW, fire about every three days
