I received an e-mail from Robbie at GT today. They are shipping pellets to 4 Central Maine Lowes on 6/22. It surprised me they were shipping this early. Can't wait to see what the price will be!
Let me know, I have been burning them with no issues
I'll be back next weekend, going boating in Houma LA. Keep me posted, bought them last year at this time for $197 ton.GT has a link now where you can follow the shipment. I plan on checking the prices next Friday and will post it here. I like them a lot. A little ashy, but with a Harman it's not an issue. I bought them last year for $177/ton with a veterans discount before Lowe's raised the price.

Thanks, I emailed GT, if I do not get response I will let you know. It's a link to a spreadsheet that they update daily. The e-mail I received that listed the shipping date and destination also had a shipping code. Without the codes, the spreadsheet is useless. I can forward the e-mail to you if you like.
My email stated Seabrook and Woburn same date 6/22.I also got an email and it listed 6 stores. Maybe because my zip code is a little closer to some of the southern Maine stores than yours. Keep us posted! I may pick up some if I can get them for $177/ton again. I already have over 4 tons for the upcoming season (probably more than enough for this year) but more is never a bad thing!
Just got another email. Shipping to Danvers, MA, Salem NH, Rochester NH on 6/29. Lets hope this push has favorable pricing.
With gas prices down and a favorable May for new housing starts, we can only hope! Here is a quote from the new housing starts in May, "American builders broke new ground on more single-family homes in May and requested more permits to build homes and apartments than they have in the past three and a half years.
Just called the Seabrook, NH Lowes and the person I spoke to said the price will be $5.49 a bag. NO THANKS!but, on the flipside of this, the last few years have been the WORST housing market since they started keeping records in the early 50's.....so, Im not sure what that really means? Is it a little better than the worst market we have seen in 3 generations? Not saying much.

Lousyweather looks like you hit it with the "flipside".
On my original post I said "we can only hope". I should have known better. "Hope and Change" hasn't worked for the past 4 years. Hopefully the Lowe's will sit on these pellets for a while and then lower prices. I wont be interested until they come down to around $4 a bag.
I wonder what they will be going for....A truckload shipped to Lowe's in Augusta, Maine today.
Sounds like green team has a huge delivery going on, i also got the notice for my area. i will be watching closely as well. anything under 200 im hitting hard not like i dont have enough as it is. But heard pretty good things about their pellet and want to try them
You going to pull an OMV?
I think he actually works during the warmer months.I took an OMV this morning... (where's he been?)...Never pulled one
