All this talk of Pellets...... Lookin at getting 1.5 ton of Rocky Mountains delivered for $225 ($3 a bag). There not a great pellet (from whats been said here/for a Softwood,t thats surprising?)

Hoping some Greene Team Greene Golds come closer to me this year. I got 5 bags from a forum member last season. They were a pretty good pellet.

I was.... Then I bought a Dixie Chopper 3374 Excalibur and a Stihl MS 460....

That was put on hold. Pending the purchase on my Polaris Ranger (Razor is what I want, but Ranger is practical). ;)

Sorry buddy.... (Also have some stove selling and swaping in the works). I need to be on extra special behavior. My Wife loves me. But she hates my money spending habits! :(

If the so called "analysts" are right, the absolute bottom is going fall out of the price of oil by years end or early 2013. Transportation costs may be high now but I just don't think the prices we are seeing now will hold.

I guess time will tell.......most poeple cant hold out till "years end or early 2013" to get their fuel though, and I certainly wouldnt hold off buying in the hopes that the prices will plummet......raw material is bought, pellets are made and sitting....you likely wont see a big drop even if the price drops.......

    Hey Oldmountvernon,
Not sure why they told you they didn't have the Green Teams, I drove right in their stockyard and looked at the shipment. They were Green Teams Platinum's and their were probably 15 ton's or so. They quoted me $5.49 per bag price.......

Hey J, good to see you on the forum finally. GT are going to be a bit overpriced out of the gate. At 274, they do not have much room to go up! I got Vermonts for for 259 about a month ago, I think that is price June has too.

Similar thing happened to me last year, mid summer. The manager told me $299/ton and I told him I could get a much better pellet for that price. A month later they were on sale @ $199/ton. Be patient and wait them out. I think they price them high early in the summer to see if they can get some suckers to buy at that price before the promo pricing comes out.
