I have never burnt these pellets and I was at my local store this morning and they have these. I was wondering if they put out good heat?

Every stove burns pellets a little differently, but here in western pa. they are the best pellet burning we have bought.....I drove 2-60 mile round trips carrying 1/2 ton each paid 219.00 for the ton..... others will be along shortly to chime in.......A black bag with flames on it.....

I will be buying 8 ton of these for 160.00 deliverred, so I guess I did good...

Central Illinois here and there isn't a better pellet than Somersets available for my units. I love em.

Good? You scored HUGE my friend!!!! Great buy!!!

From what I've read, they are a sizeable hardwood floor manufacturer, and we're burning their leftovers...

I am so damn jealous!!! I bought 2+ tons in 2010 and did not get to use them up last year as it was warm and I just burned some shoulder pellets. My Quads and me LOVE them. Got them during the February thaw in pellet prices at Lowes in Eastern CT and have not seen them since.

Don't you hate these people getting Somersets for that price :) ... .....I have to spend $100 a ton more to get the same performance

Lowes may get them, who knows, they get whatever deal they can, they dont care how good or bad they are, just a price wholesale, if somerset's wants to unload a few thousand ton maybe they will sell

Tried the locator, but couldnt find a dealer within 250 miles ?? What gives ?

I bought a few ton of these two years ago&loved them but haven't been able to find them since.Cheap, low ash&hot!Wish I could find them again.

$160 a ton delivered! !!! WTH?!?!

I love the "Sets". As the D's said. Best pellet around locally. But cheapest is $175 picked up at Menards right now.

How did you get the $160? Inquiring minds want to know? :)

Sommerset & Country Boy are both hardwood flooering companies in Kentucky.I got 3 tons of Country Boy
(white & red oak) this year. Last year I burned American Wood Fiber & they burned about 10 degrees lower
than Somersets. I try to stay with Sommeret's , Country Boy or American Wood Fiber, they work the best for me.

Somersets are horrid, terrible pellet. I feel so bad you folks got "stuck" with so many I will take a trip to Mo. and take em off your hands. I'll even pay say $189 a ton for them. :p
