So I installed my P61 the other day and I cant believe the amount of heat this thing throws.

It throws tons of heat through the exchanger, but it radiates like a wood stove as well.

I have had 5 different pellet stoves over the past few years but this one is by far the best one.

I am also impressed how much you can regulate the heat.

Other stoves kind of go from pretty hot, to hot. This one goes from luke warm to blow you out of the house nuclear mode. Nice for when its not too cold out.

looks great and plenty of heat from that beast.
I was going to go with the harman went to the dealer and man that thing blew out some heat. but with any stove your gonna eat threw some pellets quick running it like we do to show maximum heat output the dealer told me.
. I ended up going with the Mtvernon for the looks and the dealer in my area blows them out for 3200 1k cheaper the the local Harman dealer ( P68)
The Enviro dealer was a .. so opted out of that ( he is now out of business who would of thought :) )

Yea I dont blame you.

I paid $600 for my P61 it was only used 1 season and is in showroom condition.

Gotta love Craigslist

Yup love the heat it puts out! -25F back in 2008 and it kept the downstairs at 76-78 and upstairs at 63-68. (Insulation issues)
Do wish it had DC motors and built-in power backup like the Mt. Vernon.
But do like the burn pot and ash pan design better on the Harmans.

They both do a great job heating. They are owned by same company now, right??

I have a p61 also and i too was surprised at how much heat is delivered. I am heating 1800sq ft and it dont even break a sweat. I run it in stove temp on a setting of 2 and unless it gets severly cold it will heat the house up too much. I have heated my house to 75 degrees since friday for 2.00 in pellets.

My P61 is a beast! It has no problems heating up 2400sq ft. I actually have it on stove temp/auto/2 right now. Looks like the temperature will be dropping this weekend. Might switch it to room temp/manual/72ish.

I had mine on stove temp 1 and 1/2 all day today it was around 50 degrees outside.

Tonight it is 39 degrees.

2400 square foot house.

First floor 80 degrees second floor 73 degrees.

I highly doubt ill ever use stove temp 7 unless its like 30 below or something.

I'm not sure I'd even want to try stove temp 7!:ZZZ

$600?!?!?!?! You thief!!!!!

Looking good!

Highest I have used is stove temp 5 I believe. And that was coming back home after a weekend away so I wanted to pump some heat. I typically run in room temp manual and it is more often than not in maint. burn and the house is about 2250 sf.

LoL, sounds like you should have just done your homework from the get go and gotten a Harman!

Haha you are right but i have actually made money on every stove i have had.

I bought them all cheap and pretty much learned how to fix these things.

I was originally going to flip this stove but it was so nice i decided to keep it.

Glad i did

Flip it? You'd be going backwards if you did that.....wait, there's the P68 : )

No the rpm thing is still annoying me.

I never even checked the board for a voltage pot. I didnt feelnlike messing with it anymore.

had the stove running perfect for the past 2 days no issues.

I am going to look for a cheap control board as a backup just in case.

I already have a spare auger motor and will be picking up a new combustion blower and convection blower so I am all set for the whole winter.
