I thought Canada had real license plates like we do here in the us?
 
Since the equipment was originally from a Swedish company, I'm guessing either there or Norway perhaps?
 
i thought it might have been western europe....as i thought it might be wide, narrow, and black and white...what little i saw of it when the van was backing up. could be anywhere i guess but had to be someplace with a multitude of islands in or along the waterway/lake.
